Our take
Most task managers fail at the same point: they treat every task as equal. We built ToDo around the belief that the hardest part of productivity is not capturing tasks but deciding what to do next. The colored categories and priority system are intentionally minimal — we tested richer tagging and found it slowed people down more than it helped. ToDo is opinionated about simplicity because simplicity is what we actually use.
